Consumer Alerts

At SCUBAPRO UWATEC, safety comes first however this alert in no way affects SCUBAPRO or SEEMANN drysuits or inflator hoses.

Informational Notice:  May 5, 2009

SCUBAPRO, as well as Seemann, have for many years used high performance dry suit inlet valves produced for us by SiTech®.  However, we are only using the inlet valve itself, combined and CE approved with our original low pressure inflator hoses.

As you may have seen in recent announcements, SiTech® has recalled their dry suit inflator hoses. SCUBAPRO dry suits and inflator hoses are not involved in this recall. However, hoses from other dry suit manufacturers may be affected.

Please be notified, that use of such affected SiTech® hoses purchased or manufactured by SiTech® directly or from other manufacturers who are using SiTech® valves and hoses are not to be used or combined with any of our SCUBAPRO or Seemann regulators or dry suits. Please consult the SiTech® website at www.sitech.se for further details.
