As our Brand Manager, you lead and execute brand strategy and market tactics to increase profitability and brand effectiveness based on consumer intimacy and consumer segmentation needs. Your responsibilities will include managing marketing plans and campaigns, communication strategy and materials, advertising, public relations, digital, social media, consumer intimacy/research, consumer segmentation, product packaging, promotional and point of purchase marketing.

What you will do:

* Partner with senior brand leadership and provide input into the development of brand strategy. Lead and execute brand initiatives to grow brand equity and brand identity in the market and ultimately enhance consumer experience and loyalty.

* Strengthen brand equity by developing, leading, and executing comprehensive and fully integrated marketing programs that address targeted consumer segment needs.

* Serves on a cross-functional team to create innovation strategies and briefs, platforms and new product segments based on consumer insight and market research.

* Perform initial business case development, consumer positioning and alignment to demand space. Manage product packaging, design and communication briefs.

* Own, lead and execute the marketing communication strategy and plan which includes but is not limited to marketing campaigns, graphics, photography, print/TV, advertising, video, packaging, point-of-sale, product catalogs, social media, digital, CRM/DDM and public relations.

* Manage brand representation through show participation, events, ambassadors and other grass root initiatives.

* Develop, direct and interpret trade and consumer market research studies to identify trends and market opportunities.

* Manage and drive marketing insights/analytics including consumer insights, competitive analysis, market/penetration opportunities, market best practices, shopper and purchase path analysis, sales trends, potential implications and product range gaps.

* Evaluate brand and marketing strategy ROI and effectiveness using key performance indicator analysis, metric targets, reporting, testing and tracking, dashboards and related key reporting.

* Collaborate with sales on the planning and implementing of sales programs and activities as necessary to support the sales team, develop sales tools, attend major shows/customer presentations and present new products.

 

What you need to succeed:

* Advanced knowledge, skills and experience in branding, marketing strategy development, traditional and digital marketing, social media, sponsorship management and promotion, consumer behavior strategies, consumer segmentation and consumer intimacy and promotional analysis.

* Experience and success in consumer intimacy and segmentation research to profitability grow the brand and align with the market. Ability to use research to effectively build our brand.

* Knowledge and skills in effectively developing marketing campaigns and tactics, marketing communications, positioning products, packaging products and managing a marketing budget.

* Expertise in managing projects from concept through implementation, analysis and evaluation. Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

* Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to leverage across various internal and external teams/resources and communicate marketing plans.

* Experience working in a deadline-oriented environment with a high attention to detail and quality.

* Experience with profit and loss management and the ability to turn financial data into sound business decisions.

* Advanced proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated proficiency in the Adobe Suite of tools, and a general understanding of HTML as well as other web-based applications.

* Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

As our Product Manager, you will oversee the new product process for thermal wear, branded clothing, soft goods, accessories, and buoyancy compensator devices. You will also have the opportunity to help determine the next innovations in diving by providing input into product development and design, innovation strategy, and product launches as a key member of a global cross-functional team.

What you will do:

  • Execute product development plans to ensure quality on-time and on-budget results.
  • Manage relationships with strategic partners, including external vendors. Provide direction to vendors on prototype manufacturing, and conduct vendor inspections and training to enhance production processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing to ensure products are designed based on our brand strategy, design specifications, and product plans.
  • Supervise, guide, and develop Product Development team members.
  • Provide insights into the product plan, product concepts, innovation plans, and launch plans based on consumer insights and research. Collaborate with Marketing to provide input to effectively target consumers and maximize market share, profitability and brand success.
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide product innovation and improvement recommendations. Research subjects will include competitor products, target markets, consumers, sales channels, our existing portfolio, available technologies and partners, and product P&L.
  • Acts as a liaison between engineering and operations to advise and guide on technical capabilities, requirements or improvements.
  • Collaborates with R&D centers and product managers from other product categories to identify and develop cross-category platforms and products.

 

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, or equivalent.
  • 7 years of product development experience, including executing product development and R&D strategies, preferably within a global consumer goods environment.
  • A technical background, with the ability to think strategically, understand market dynamics and consumer insights, and leverage them to effectively implement product plans.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound recommendations based on business data.
  • Understanding of product margins/financials.
  • Experience and willingness to collaborate with and influence internal and external partners, including a willingness to work outside of regular business hours to collaborate with partners across the globe.
  • Experience working with and procuring vendors and suppliers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Knowledge of brand and business management basics, product positioning, budgeting and packaging.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.

  • Experience in creating, procuring and managing sportswear or apparel, particularly with a diving, surfing, or marine sports brand is highly desired.

As our E-Commerce Manager, you will manage, execute, and evaluate e-commerce and digital advertising campaigns. Responsibilities will include digital merchandizing strategies, promotional campaigns, managing the product management system, CRM, business intelligence sharing, and loyalty programs related to e-commerce.

What you will do:

· Provide input into innovative e-commerce strategies. In partnership with others, execute the e-commerce strategy to grow revenue, improve gross margin, maximize operating income and deliver the ultimate brand experience to our consumers.

· Collaborate with internal teams, dealers and vendors to design, build and launch and continuously enhance e-commerce site(s). Guide projects from conception to completion, leading requirements gathering, scope definition, resource planning, project timeline, budget management, risk management and change control.

· Identify key project stakeholders including internal and external stakeholders and develop strong partnerships to ensure project success.

· Develop and implement digital merchandizing strategies for the e-commerce site to increase on-line and in-store sales. Work with cross-functional partners and others on the marketing team to plan and analyze the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.

· Partner with internal teams to create search content and site localization strategies with ongoing content updates to websites, including copy, content/resources and search engine optimization. Evaluates effectiveness, and ensures alignment with marketing and brand initiatives.

· Responsible for the product management system (PIM) administration and product price lists.

· Measure, analyze and evaluate e-commerce effectiveness to improve user experience, user funnels, the on-line shopping experience and profitability. Track KPIs and diagnostic metrics from e-commerce site(s), marketing channel campaigns, site surveys and product reviews. Measure and analyze against benchmarks and trends. Collaborate with key business partners to optimize future results.

· Identify, optimize and implement best practices across e-commerce to drive new consumer acquisition, consumer engagement, market competitiveness, revenue growth and return on investment.

 

What you need to succeed:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or equivalent.

· At least 7 years of marketing experience, including successfully leading and executing e-commerce and digital advertising campaigns.

· Experience driving positive consumer experiences leading to increased company profits.

· Skills in developing, executing and evaluating merchandizing and promotional strategies.

· Demonstrated experience in designing, building, launching, and managing e-commerce sites.

· Experience managing online promotions and incentives.

· Experience and demonstrated capability to make data driven decisions to continually optimize and drive the customer funnel.

· Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills to clearly articulate ideas, frame problems, offer solutions and lead others to deliver results.

· Demonstrated experience working directly with the leadership to define strategies which align with organizational initiatives and culture.
